Fairview Glass: When Authenticity Counts!

Fairview Glass is a Maryland company dedicated to historic preservation through salvaging and recycling antique window glass Wavy Glass, Bubble Glass, Crown Glass, Float Glass, Leaded Glass, are all common terms for the old glass.. Most of our glass is reclaimed from Baltimore and Washington metropolitan area homes that lie in the path of urban sprawl and are slated for demolition. Fairview Glass is authentic antique glass. We do not carry restoration glass. Although we can order it if you like.

All glass is cleaned and cut to our customer's specifications, and ready to install. There is no extra charge for sizing. Though it is sometimes difficult, we will attempt to match glass according to era and type, for example: hand blown glass, float glass, 18th century glass, and 19th century glass. In addition to glass, we also offer a limited supply of antique window sashes and complete window units.

Fairview Glass also provides sash restoration service. All sashes are stripped, squared, and re-glued and primed. Rot is removed and the damaged wood is replaced with modern epoxy wood fillers and dowel pins reinstalled.

Fairview Glass also offers complete on and off site window restoration. Windows wont open? Give us a call, we will make them work and do the repairs as necessary. We can restore the old rope and pulley system or we can install energy saving jamb liners that keep the character of the original windows.

We also offer high quality storms and screens.
